Hab-01 is a habitat concept that works to improve quality of life and safety, as well as increase research opportunities for future explorers on Mars. The design takes advantage of the lava tubes found on the landscape of Mars to shield astronauts from radiation, funnel light into the habitat, and allow astronauts to easily access underground and above ground research opportunities. Team of three industrial designers & two architects.
